MBA 570: Opportunity Evaluation and Value Creation
This course focused on moving through the processes of identifying, exploring, and exploiting opportunities for
value creation (e.g., economic value, social value, or environmental value). I worked with a talented group of individuals to create ideation portfolios, conduct market and industry assessments, and finally create an opportunity pitch.
MBA 585: Current Topics in Biosciences Management
This course presented an overview of the forces that shape the biosciences industries. It included analyses of the economic impact of biotechnology, agriculture, nutrition, and industrial projects. I worked with an amazing team on several collaborative projects where we presented our explorations of the dynamic and competitive bioscience industries.
MBA 586: Legal, Regulatory and Ethical Issues in Life Science Industries
This course centered on practical issues necessary to understand to become effective business managers in the life sciences industry. It included detailed analyses of Phase I-IV clinical trials, 510(k) and PMA steps, and other roles of the FDA. The course also taught off-label usage and social issues such as ethics and corporate social responsibility.
